After taking a four-game losing streak into spring break, Hot Springs got back on track against visiting eStem Monday night.

Seven of the nine Trojan starters had at least one base hit as Hot Springs (4-4, 0-4 5A/6A-6) rolled to a 17-1 win over the Comets (0-8) in three innings.

Leadoff man Ben Slate tripled and walked in three at-bats, finishing with three runs scored, two stolen bases and a team-high three RBIs.

Isaiah Calhoun, Sebastian Love, Elias Parker and Hayden Wisener each had two RBIs for the Trojans, while Shawn Lingo plated one run and walked twice in two at-bats.

Love earned the win with one run allowed on one hit, striking out five while issuing no walks in three innings pitched.

Axton Rammick singled and had one RBI for eStem's lone hit of the game. Kenny Brazil suffered the loss with 10 runs allowed on five hits and five walks in one inning pitched.

Hot Springs is scheduled to resume conference play Thursday at crosstown rival Lakeside (11-3, 4-0). Tuesday's game against visiting Hope (4-6, 1-3) was postponed to April 9 due to inclement weather.
